Lois graduated from Bath Spa University in 2017 with a BA Hons in Dance and in 2021, Lois graduated from her MA degree at the University of Wolverhampton. Lois has a keen interest in creating innovative choreography and immersive performance experiences. She has experience of working with professional dance companies such a Lila Dance, Impermanence Dance Theatre and Dancefest. Lois works to enhance the dance sector in Worcestershire and create community dance projects with all ages, ranging from children to the older generations.
In her spare time, Lois takes part in community supportive projects, including performing with the inclusive dance company, Critical Mass. During this time, she took part in the opening of Birmingham Cultural Festival performing a piece entitled Wondrous Stories created by Motionhouse and Jamaal Burkmar (Extended Play). Following this, she was part of SENSE which was performed during the Birmingham International Dance Festival 2022. Her time with Critical Mass ended with performing in the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games in August 2022.
Lois has also performed in Birmingham Opera Company's 'Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk' 2019 which received many 5* reviews. In 2020, Lois was nominated for a One Dance UK Award in the Category of 'The Inspirational Community Dance Practitioner". Lois has previously worked at The Norbury Theatre, Droitwich. Her first musical, 'Joseph and the Technicoloured Dreamcoat' (2019) won Best Youth Production in District 5 at the NODA Awards. In 2022, Lois choreographed 'Legally Blonde', as well as the pantomime, Snow White. Most recently, she is working to choreograph Anything Goes which sets sail in June 2023.
